About Me

My name is Hussein Duvigneau, currently at university, studying Economics and Computer Science in Manchester, UK. I’ve been into programming since before I was a teenager, starting out with basic web dev and moving onto 3D games. Besides programming I love to travel, I have lots of plans, sadly I don’t anticipate living long enough to go through with them all. I enjoy kiting and cycling and just being away from the city.

At time of writing, I’m awaiting the result of a job interview to go and teach English in Japan, following my adventure there last summer I decided I want to return. Failing that I’ll take a year out to do my own thing before resuming a career in the military or doing a masters in Artificial Intelligence.

The main adventure in my life at the moment is the Officer Training Corps. Some of the training can be tough, but the greater reward is pride in succeeding, coming home after experiencing a few days of breaking point, but pulling through. I keep telling people it’s not about being “hard” as they like to jest, it’s all in the preparation. The better you start off, the better you’ll finish.
